To address the need of identifying key ideas in writing management essays, you can use the brainstorming method. In the brainstorming method, you must be able to list all the ideas that you think may qualify as the subject matter of your management essay. You must not be afraid of jotting down ideas even if you think some ideas are foolish, in the first place, you will decide later on which ideas you will take as the topic for your management essay.

Listing a lot of ideas for the contents of your management essay can lead you to a lot of directions. These ideas are not filtered yet, so in this case, after listing all the ideas you have generated, you must be able to identify your key ideas. You must know what outcome you want to arrive at, and then list all the ideas that will contribute in supporting your outcome in the management essay. Be very careful of ideas that are subjective and biased, make sure that the identified ideas can be supported with management principles and examples of management practices.

When all the relevant ideas are listed, you must be able to prioritize them and know where to put them in your management essay, whether they are at the beginning, middle or end. These key ideas become your main topic in the paragraphs. Lastly, always reread your management essay and analyze the logic and reasons in the content.
